Managing Back & Neck Pain
Pain can be exhausting! The affects of pain, typically back and neck pain, on your quality of life and those around you is great. Living in pain does not make for a happy life.
How Back & Neck Pain Occurs
It can be difficult to identify one key cause of pain. This is because the body is like a car in the way that when the body fails in one area, it is more than likely that this will affect another area. In fact, correct muscle and joint function is interdependent and is greatly influenced by the body’s postural alignment. Therefore common causes of back and neck pain stem from bad postural habits.
Pain Relief
A startling number of people self medicate with ibuprofen or headache tablets, commonly available from supermarkets as a way of managing pain. We find that people who come to us seeking chiropractic treatment have ignored the possible ill-effects on their body from prolonged use of this medication. We
have also found that people don't want to rely on medication, but at are at a loss for what else to do.
This is why we developed a series of simple exercise programs that can be done at home or the office to help relive pain and, more importantly, prevent further back and neck strain.
Its up to you
It is up to you to choose a drug free pain mangement solution. The good news is that a simple exercise program, done regularly, can make a HUGE difference.
