Exercise balls, also known as: Gym balls, fit balls, swiss balls and stability balls, are a great tool to use for full body workouts and core stability training.
Choosing the right ball for you depends on your height, leg length and weight.
The basic rule is that when you sit on the centre
of the ball that your hips and knees should be at 90˚ (see picture).
This table shows a broad recommendation of ball size based on your height. However it is best to try out a few balls before buying one. If you feel you fit between two sizes, go for the larger size and don’t inflate it to maximum capacity.
